The invention relates to the use of a composite comprising a substrate and a photocatalytic layer coated thereon, said photocatalytic layer comprising a photocatalytic semiconductor material having a surface which has been rendered hydrophilic by photoexcitation with sunlight, for antifogging said surfaces.
