PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication processing between dual supervisory/ controlling processors, to give consistency to processing of both systems and to provide a nonstop system. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a communication means 4 which mutually performs communication between dual supervisory/controlling processors 2a and 3b, the processors 3a and 3b notify each other of an event which occurs and they mutually grasp the states of each other and supervise and control the state of the system. Also, a prescribed notification even (alive message) is exchanged every fixed time between the processors 3a and 3b so that they can mutually supervise their operations. When the data is transmitted, a sequence number is assigned and sent, and resounding processing can be performed by using the sequence number at the time of the occurrence of a receiving error. Also, when one of the processors 3a and 3b is actively exchanged, the other system can continue the operation of the system.
