PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yarn clamp to prevent development of recesses on weft surface, to provide a rapier bearing the yarn clamp, and to provide a rapier loom bearing the rapier. ;SOLUTION: This yarn clamp has 1st and 2nd holding members 11 and 12 to provide a gripping area, a retainer member 13 to hold the 2nd holding member, a deflector member 15, and a guide body 16. The deflector member 15 is disposed between the guide body 16 and the 1st holding member 11, lying screwed, together with the guide body 16, on the 1st holding member 11. By virtue of the deflector member, another deflection position and another gripping area are provided. As a result, another frictional engagement is afforded, thus enabling a weft to be gripped with virtually small force.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
