PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automate operations to reload board materials loaded on a pallet onto another pallet one by one while sprinkling water thereon. ;SOLUTION: Board materials 20 stacked on a pallet 33 are transferred to a water sprinkling position with a hoard material transferring device 11 one by one and then stacked on a pallet 40 on a water sprinkling pedestal 39. Thereby, water sprinkling pipes 71 travel above the board materials 20 to sprinkle water on the whole surface of the board material 20 in the topmost stage each time one board material 20 is stacked. The water sprinkling pedestal 39 is lowered with increasing load weight of the board materials 20 sprinkled with water by a lifting and lowering mechanism 50 for the water sprinkling pedestal 39 and the height and position of the board material 20 in the topmost stage are kept nearly constant. When the load weight becomes full with the board materials 20 sprinkled with water, the pallet 40 fully loaded with the board materials 20 sprinkled with water is then taken out by a takeout conveyor 41.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
