PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a diamond drill bit and a diamond whetstone used for the drill bit whose lines are remarkably improved, and with which high speed drilling is possible without using water or processing liquid just by fitting on a simple rotating tool such as a regular drill when a hard and fragile material such as concrete or stone is to be drilled. ;SOLUTION: A diamond drill bit is of the structure of jointing integrally a metal body 7 with a diamond whetstone 1 set on the metal body 7, and the channel intervals of a slit 2 formed on the diamond whetstone 1 are formed narrow on the site corresponding to a rotating shaft of the diamond whetstone 1 and wide on a site away from the rotating shaft in the outer peripheral direction, and the diamond drill bit formed by filling a filler in the slit 2 and the diamond whetstone 1 used for the bit are set in an incineration mold in the form of clamping the filler 5 processed into the given dimension set between a plurality of diamond layers primary molded bodies, and then pressure incinerated to manufacture a diamond whetstone integrated with the slit without the necessity of after-processing.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
