A magnetisable liq. comprises a magnetic medium consisting of iron powder, ferrosilicium powder and iron carbonate powder to which is added a metal selected from praseodymium, chromium, cobalt, nickel, samarium and vanadium. The powders are present in a polymerisable binder. Also claimed are (i) a magnetic label obtd. by application of the claimed liq.; and (ii) process for the prepn. of the claimed liq.
