The system which measure the volume includes an enclosure(10) of predetermined volume(Vo), a reservoir(20) for a liquid(21) having an output(22), and a pipe(23) which extends form the output(22) to the measuring enclosure(10). A system(30) is able to vary the volume of the reservoir(20) and to displace the liquid mercury(21) into the pipe(23) upto the measuring enclosure(10). A capillary tube(40) is designed to measure a level change(h1,h2) of the mercury which represents the gas pressure contained in the enclosure(10). At the moment of measuring the system(30) reduces the volume of the reservoir(20).
