The plug comprises an obturator sealed by a joint to a circuit tubular neck (1a). A spring loaded valve opposite the obturator is normally supported against a fixed seat (5) and a float (9) engages and closes the valve (8) when the fluid contained by the circuit expands. The obturator is fixed to a cage (3) in which the valve is located. The valve has a lower annular lip (8b) which supports a fixed joint (5) on which the valve is spring supported. The external wall of the valve has two joints (6,7) engaging in the neck bore and located either side a ferrule (1b) which communicate with an expansion chamber. The float, which is guided vertically relative to the central valve ribs, has a hermetic bell (9a) forming the support for a flat joint (10) mating with the valve lip. The joint is assembled onto the float horizontal shoulder (9d).
