The systems receiver (30) and processor (40) are designed to detect this radio-frequency at the time of acquisition of the RMN signal from a sample and to use the signal so detected. The controlled radio-frequency signal is a sinusoidal signal whose period includes an exponential decrement and exponential increment. The signal is also shifted in frequency with respect to the natural RMN spectrum of the sample for use in spectrometry or imagery.
