The device includes a stationary magnetic field source, a stationary magnetic field sensor and a flow change element connected with a rotor of the rotation drive. The flow change element (2) is arranged in a first partial magnetic field, and the stationary magnetic field sensor (4) is arranged in a second partial magnetic field. The magnetic induction and/or the magnetic field intensity is increased in one partial magnetic field and reduced in the other, respectively, in dependence on the position of the flow change element.
