FIELD: veterinary science. SUBSTANCE: immune preparation based on cow colostrum has additionally formaldehyde and saline solution and dry whey as colostrum component at the following ratio of components, weight %: cow colostrum dry whey 6-7; formaldehyde 0.08-0.12, and saline solution - the rest. Method of treatment involves the use of composition of the following components, weight %: cow colostrum dry whey 6-7; formaldehyde 0.08-0.12, and saline solution - the rest that is administrated by intramuscular route at dose 2.5-3.5 ml/head, 1-2 times per 24 h up to recovery. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment, immunity recovery, enhanced safety of newborn calves, simplified method of treatment.
