In the present invention, a mycobacterial-specific PCR primer capable of amplifying not only the TB complex but also the recently rapidly growing MOTT by using the rpoB gene as the target DNA has been developed. In addition, the most remarkable feature of the present invention is that an electric primer The amplified rpoB DNA was digested with Hind-II to distinguish the TB complex from the MOTT.
