The present invention relates to a television that displays a corporate promotional screen every time the television power source is "on". The television of the present invention includes a memory unit for storing a plurality of promotional screens in a bitmap form so that a corporate promotional screen can be displayed on a television receiver using information of the television itself regardless of broadcast, and a bit member stored in the memory unit. It is further included in the graphics chip for converting information into a suitable form for presentation on a television receiver, and in a conventional microcomputer that has been modified to perform the necessary control operations. Therefore, the present invention provides the effect that the television can maximize the effect of corporate promotion without significant cost burden.
