PURPOSE: To improve the rooting ratio and the shooting ratio and reduce the period required for shooting by carrying out growth of an adventitious bud formed from a shoot primordium derived from the embryo of the first filial generation Fl of Larix Gmelini Ledeb, rooting, rooting promotion and shooting respectively under a specified condition. ;CONSTITUTION: An adventitious bud formed from a shoot primordium derived from the embryo of the first filial generation Fl of Larix Gmelini Ledeb is allowed to grow while applying a periodical light and darkness treatment and subjected to rooting treatment by applying a dark treatment in the presence of an auxin. Rooting is promoted by applying a light and darkness treatment without using an auxin and shooting is carried out by applying a periodical light and darkness treatment under an aseptic condition. If the shoot primordium is cultured for about 310 days, individuals are regenerated from about 70% the formed adventitious buds.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
