PURPOSE: To provide a device which simulates fires of classes A to C accompanied with actual heat and flames and trains various persons to extinguish fires with an actual or mimic fire extinguisher by constituting the device of a portable fuel burner unit, a fuel ignition device, and a portable training tool control board which advances a training scenario. ;CONSTITUTION: The device consists of a portable burner unit 22, a control board 24 which can be arranged apart from the burner unit 22, and a fuel tank 26. The control board 24 controls the operation of the burner unit 22 through one or a plurality of electric cables 28. The control board 24 is supplied with power by a proper incorporated power source like a battery, and power may be supplied to it by a power cord 30. A fuel is selectively supplied to the burner unit 22 through a fuel supply line 32, and this fuel is ignited to cause flames representing the fires of classes A to C. The fuel steam from a tank 26 to the fuel supply line 32 is normally controlled by a rotating knob type valve 36 and a pressure adjuster.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
