PURPOSE: To improve the generation efficiency and the quality of a parts library by preventing operator's misinput to reduce the man-hour of plotting. ;CONSTITUTION: A parts shape selecting part 1 selects one parts shape from parts shapes of preliminarily registered models and those of models newly registered from a parametric graphic input part 2 in accordance with operator's indication from the outside. A fundamental parts shape display part 3 displays the selected parts shape of the model on the screen of a display part. A parameter input promotion part 4 displays information, which prompts the operator to input the parameters of respective parts of the parts shape of the model displayed on the screen as numerical values, on the display part. A graphic automatic expansion/reduction part 5 automatically expands/reduces respective parts of the parts shape of the model in accordance with numerical values inputted by the operator, and a synthesized parts shape display part 6 synthesizes and displays completely set parts. A parts information adding part 7 adds physical information and logical information of the object parts to completely set parts information.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
