PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high performance filter without phase disturbance by forming a coupling part of a resonator with a space by means of a partial transparent reflecting mirror surface being a plane mirror. ;SOLUTION: In the device where an incident wave 1 and a transmission wave 2 are space beams, the cases of using a couple of flat and convex lens media where the convex faces are opposed to each other for media with a converging effect between partial transparent mirror faces 34, 35 and using a single flat convex lens are shown. The length of the resonator is an integer multiple of a half wavelength and it is desired that the thickness of the flat convex lens medium is selected to be an integer multiple of 1/2 wavelength to minimize the effect of a dielectric material surface. As the partial transparent mirror faces 34, 35 forming the electromagnetic coupling part with the open space, a reflecting mirror surface consisting of lattice conductor patterns finner than the wavelength is provided. Furthermore, a couple of the reflecting mirror surfaces have the same reflection loss with respect to the electromagnetic wave signal reflected repetitively in the inside of the resonator.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
