PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously and speedily carry out construction work from a sediment layer to a bedrock. ;SOLUTION: A segment layer to a bedrock continuing from the segment layer below it are dug out by a device furnished with a function to inject fluid with high pressure from a head end downward and provided with a rotating drill bit for rock drilling 2 a diameter of which is larger than a down hammer 1 and to drill by rotation on an upper part of the down hammer 1 to drill a bedrock by vertical movement. At the time of digging the segment layer, the segment layer is dug out by drilling and digging below the down hammer 1 while injecting fluid with high pressure from the head end of the down hammer land by rotating the rotating drill bit for rock drilling 2 above the down hammer 1. When reaching the bedrock, the bedrock is drilled and cut in small diameter by vertically moving the down hammer 1 while injecting fluid with high pressure from the head end of the down hammer 1. A part drill in small diameter by the down hammer 1 is drill in large diameter by the rotating drill bit for rock drilling 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
