PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of producing artificial snow, keeping the snow firmly stacked without being affected by an atomospheric temperature, preventing snow melting and maintaining snow cover in an excellent state. ;SOLUTION: A heat shielding sheet 1 provided with a nozzle fitting hole and an exhaust window hole 2 is used and the peripheral edge part of the heat shielding sheet 1 is spread and fixed on a ground surface and a floor surface. A snow scattering nozzle 5 attached to the tip of a transportation pipe for air-transporting the artificial snow is inserted to the nozzle fitting hole, a dome is formed by sending in air and expanding the heat shileding sheet 1, the artificial snow produced outside is jetted and sent inside the dome from the snow scattering nozzle 5, the exhaust window hole 2 is opened simultaneously and the snow is accumulated while discharging the air inside the dome.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
