PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain plain summer KIMONO (Japanese clothes) having coolness due to natural surface unevenness and excellent in tough feeling, high coloring property, crease resistance, quickly drying property and wear comfortable feeling. SOLUTION: This plain summer KIMONO is composed of a woven fabric containing a polyester filament yarn having cross section shape having recessed part whose depth is 5-75m and additionally twisted so that the twist coefficient is within a range of 4,500 to 17,000 and a polyester filament yarn having uneven thickness in the lengthwise direction of yarn, e.g. conjugate false twist yarn, alternately forming a part singly winding a sheath yarn round a core yarn and a part forming the sheath yarn round the core yarn in triple state. Furthermore, at least either one of processing works for imparting antistatic property, water absorbing property and antifouling property is preferably applied to the plain summer KIMONO.
