PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain pickup of an image close to that observed by human eyes, more accurate focus, excellent image quality and miniaturization by forming a shape of a light receiving face of an image pickup element and a lens to be a prescribed shape and of one lens constitution. ;SOLUTION: A light receiving face of an image pickup element 1 is formed to be a recessed face similar to a retina of human eyes and a lens 2 is formed to be a convex lens. A frame of a film is made similar to that of High Vision and uses photosensing particles with gray coating. In this case, the thickness of coating of the photosensing particles is adjusted to make color matching complete. The film is made small and a cartridge is finished to be similar to a cross section of the retina of human eyes. Thus, the video camera is formed so that the picked up image is equal to that viewed by human eyes and seen naturally. Furthermore, the manufacture is easily, excellent image quality is obtained and small size and light weight are attained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
