PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cause a growth state of crystal snow to be always observed by a method wherein a rotary plate is rotated with one snow generating transparent pipe being rotated just above a water vapor generating device and stopped for more than a predetermined period of time, then the rotary plate is rotated again to cause the other transparent pipe to be stopped when it reaches a location just above the water vapor generating device and this operation is repeated. ;SOLUTION: A snow growing glass pipe 8A acting as a snow growing transparent pipe comprised of glass pipes 8a, 8b formed in an inner and outer double arrangement is installed vertically at one section defined by a vertical partition plate 5 at a rotary plate 4. The glass pipe 8A is rotated just above a place where a beaker 24 acting as a water vapor generating device is installed in a shield cylinder 23 and then stopped for a predetermined time. After this operation, the rotary plate is rotated again, the glass pipe 8B acting as the other snow growing transparent pipe for evaporating snow is stopped when the pipe reaches a place just above the beaker 24 acting as a water vapor generating device and this operation is repeated. With such an arrangement as above, the crystal snow once grown returns to its original water state again, the snow automatically returns to its original state and thus it is always possible to cause an observer to see a snow growing state.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
