PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-weight LED light source for plant cultivation capable of simplifying a structure and being utilized for seedling production and the proliferation of adventitious embryos constituted so as to provide a light emitting diode element and be mountable to the upper part of a plant culture container. ;SOLUTION: This LED light source is provided with the light emitting diode elements such as the elements of red LEDs whose wavelength area is 630-680mm or the red LEDs and blue LEDs whose wavelength area is 380-480mm or the like composed by being arrayed on a base plate and is made mountable to the upper part of the plant culture container 20. Also, the plant culture container 20 is obtained from a container main body constituted of a frame 13 and an air permeable transparent resin film 14 containing a culture medium inside and a cover provided with rubber packing and a fixing means to the container main body for mounting the LED light source for the plant cultivation.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
