PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize training to recognize fundamental characteristics and operation techniques about power generation facilities very economically as well as easily on an operator basis only by preparing a light weight and small computer. SOLUTION: Three displays modeling each characteristic of starting power generating facilities equipped in a thermoelectric power plant, parallel operation of systems, and increasing output power are time sequentially reproduced on a display device 2 of a computer by compressing time base, and by operating switches 3, 4, and 5 acting as replacements for the equipment operations, while observing each display reproduced, it is judged whether or not the characteristic changes associated with the switch operations are within tolerances. And when the characteristics reach a specified state of the operation within an allowance, the displays are automatically changed into the next ones, while, when the operation becomes a state deviating from the tolerance range, the displays return to the first ones automatically.
