PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the heat transfer performance by optimizing the disposition of a vent tube and effectively exhausting non-condensible gas. ;SOLUTION: The feed water heater comprises a heat transfer tube group that feed water flows therein, a cylindrical body 121 for containing the tubes (group), and a vent tube 131 or a vent introducing plate for bleeding and removing non-condensible gas mixed with the steam for heating the flow feed water between the tubes (group) from the steam, wherein the tube 131 or the plate is installed obliquely with respect to the axial direction of the body 121.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
