PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a material for forming a sleeve cap, capable of giving sufficient crispness to the whole sleeve cap without heaping the joint part of the sleeve and an arm hole, giving a voluminous sleeve cap and sufficiently preventing the generation of crease and to obtain a European style dress keeping a voluminous sleeve cap even in a state hung on a hanger and having a beautiful silhouette and a luxurious appearance. ;SOLUTION: This forming material is a soft cloth exhibiting compressive elasticity and having a 1st hem 5 to be joined to the shoulder part of an arm hole 12 of a body part 11 and a 2nd hem 6 opposing to the 1st hem 5. The material is provided with a sheet-formed forming base 2 having the thickness of the 1st edge part 7 near the 1st hem 5 and that of the 2nd edge part 8 near the 2nd hem 6 thinner than the thickness of the middle part 9 between the 1st edge part 7 and the 2nd edge part 8.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
