PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the sound of friction itself which is caused between a road surface and wheels by enhancing the sound absorbing property of the road surface. ;SOLUTION: A base course 1 is levelled (a), and a predetermined thickness of asphalt paving is evenly laid on the upper surface of the base course 1 and rolled to construct a base layer 2 (b). Plural lines of sound-absorbers 3 are laid (c) at predetermined intervals along the cross direction of the road as parallel, successive strips along the direction of extension of the road. On the base layer 2 on which the sound absorbers 3 are laid, a predetermined thickness of asphalt paving similar to the base layer 2 is evenly laid and rolled to construct a surface layer 4 (d).;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
