PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a processed yarn by blending or twisting milk protein yarns with composite yarns having antimicrobial, deodorizing and insecticidal properties and further having far infrared light radiation characteristics. ;SOLUTION: This processed yarn is produced by blending or twisting milk protein fibers with composite rayon fibers in a described mixing ratio. The rayon fibers are obtained by mixing a viscose with a composite ceramic in a process for producing the rayon fibers. The ceramic is obtained by stirring and mixing serpentine among ceramics having antimicrobial and deodorizing properties and further having far infrared light radiation characteristics as a base material with silica or zinc oxide as a mixing material and either of tourmaline, zeolite, calcium oxide and zinc oxide (excluding a case where the zinc oxide is used as the mixing material) as an auxiliary material, and subsequently sintering the mixture.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
