The support comprises a rectangular ground support (6) composed of metal wires with three contiguous parallel parts (9,10,11). The first of these parts (9,10) have identical dimensions and are located on each side of the support parallel to the largest side (7). Wires (15) hold and wedge the bottles in pairs and head to toe in a first layer on the support. The bottles are laid in opposing layers with their necks facing the width of the third part (11) of the support The support has in each of its three parts a lateral extension (26,27,28) extending perpendicular to one of its small sides (8). Two supports can be joined side by side with mutual overlapping and partial covering. The extensions of one of the supports and the distance of overlapping by a neighbouring support allowing total covering of the free space between them.
