FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves taking into consideration burn depth to determine the amount of liquid to be transfused. Calculations are done by using an original formula of PNL ml/kg + 10ml * S of burn for the burn of I-II degree, PNL ml/kg + 20ml * S of burn for the burn of III-IV degree, where PNL is the physiological need in liquid, 10 ml, 20 ml are the burn depth coefficients, S is the burn surface area. EFFECT: optimum liquid volume to be transfused.
