FIELD: estimation of individual psychophysiologic qualities of a human-being and can by used at professional psychologic selection and rational distribution of persons called up for military service in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. SUBSTANCE: for solution of the problem of selection of military men for service in extreme conditions of a hot climate an express-questionnaire "Thermostability" was worked, whose constructive validity is based on estimate of the following components: - motivation for service in extreme conditions; - experience of stay in the conditions of environment of moderate discomfort or close the extreme ones; - constitutional peculiarities of the individual and the state of his health; - positive cross effects of adaptation to thermal action, physical load and hypoxia. Criterional validity of the :Thermostability" express- questionnaire R=0.68. The result of use of the "Thermostability" express- questionnaire provides for professional psychologic selection of military men (candidates for military service) for service in extreme conditions of a hot climate. EFFECT: reduced terms of adaptation of military contingents, reduced quantity and expressiveness of disadaptation disturbances.
