FIELD: instruments. SUBSTANCE: method involves three additional measuring conversions in neighborhood of working point of non-linear conversion function provided by measured value. First additional measurement is done for measured value that is increased by verification increment, second additional measurement is done for measured value that is increased after its division by constant factor, third additional measurement is done for measured value that is divided by same constant factor. Increments for additional measurements is minimal value that is multiple to sensitivity threshold of measuring converter. Then, level of non-linearity of response from measured value is determined by form of functional dependence. Corrected result of measurements is calculated after all measurements and it is multiplied by correction factor which depends on level of non- linearity of converter. EFFECT: increased precision of measurements having high level of non-linearity.
