The novel ceramic ferroelectric materials of the present invention have low dielectric constant, very low loss, and high tunability. This material is a composite containing strontium barium titanate (BSTO) and a low dielectric constant ceramic material. Preferred composites are Ba1-xSrxTiO3-MgO, wherein x is from 0.00 to 0.75, and Ba1-xSrxTiO3And MgO are in the range of about 99% to 40% and 1% to 60%, respectively. The novel materials of the present invention have excellent electronic properties and can be used in various antenna systems at microwave and millimeter wave range frequencies.
