A description is given of an invention relating to a mitral and tricuspid valvuloplasty ring for annular implantation to limit the capacity for leaflet displacement, making regurgitation impossible. Said ring has the flexibility needed to adapt to the base of the leaflets of the mitral and tricuspid valve and has a configuration which is adaptable to the valve, with a fixed or variable length, a radiopaque material being introduced into it for subsequently locating it. The invention also relates to a prosthetic method for implantation of said ring, using extracorporeal circulation, the ring being implanted by means of sutures in such a way as to attach it to the posterior ring, enhancing the performance of the valve and with the adjustment threads being passed through the left or right fibrous trigone in the case of extremely variable and adjustable rings. The same process is applied to the tricuspid ring from the fibrous trigone to the vicinity of the tendon of Todaro. IMAGE
