PURPOSE: To provide an electrical connector for receiving an electronic module by providing a header and ejection mechanism. CONSTITUTION: A connector 10 is provided with a frame 12, an electric contact piece 14 and an ejection mechanism 16. The frame 12 is provided with a header 18 and two side arms 20, 21 with some intervals. The contact piece 14 has the end part 24 for connecting to a print wiring board and the end part 26 for connecting to the electronic module and is installed to the header 18 in a securing state. The header 18 constitutes a receiving area 28 in which the end part 26 of the contact piece 14 as well as card are inserted. The frame 12 has a groove 38 for receiving an ejection member 40 movably. A control member 50 is installed slidably to an ejector housing 48 in a longitudinal direction.
