PURPOSE: To dispense with the need of working, grinding, and polishing of mirrors one by one, and also to eliminate the dispersion in the product quality by pressedly molding resin on a nearly flat plane having desired minute unevenness, so that a reflecting film is fitted on the molded surface. ;CONSTITUTION: A prescribed pattern is masked on a brass by means of silk- screening, and this is subjected to oil polishing to form a plane (a-1) having prescribed minute unevenness (d). The original board (a) is pressed against a softly heated transparent plastic (b) for molding. This molding may be stamp molding or may be such a molding as the coating of resin on the original board (a). An aluminum film as a reflecting film (c) is vapor-deposited on the molded plastic (b) for obtaining a purposed magic mirror. As the plane of the reflecting surface, that which is slightly convex as a whole such as the curved surface of a radius of curvature of 1 to 10m or so provides a clear picture image. Thus, that which has a plane of slightly convex in the stage of original board (a) is preferable.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
