PURPOSE:To eliminate the installation of a battery for only supplying a starting fuel, and make the construction compact and inexpensive by supplying an output voltage of a generator from a starting fuel injection switch to a fuel injector until starting of an engine is completed. CONSTITUTION:In a gasoline injection engine provided with a throttle valve 9 and a fuel injector 13 in a suction passage 7, a fuel injection quantity from the fuel injector 13 is controlled according to an injection quantity computed by a microcomputer (MPU) 35 receiving outputs from suction air quantity detecting means 36 and engine speed detecting means 37. A power input terminal 40a of the MPU 35 is connected to an output circuit 24a of a generator 20, and a control input terminal 13c of the fuel injector 13 is connected through a starting fuel injection switch 42 to the output circuit 24a. In a MPU rest voltage region where an output voltage of the generator 20 is lower than a stable operation starting voltage of the MPU 35, the switch 42 is turned on to directly operate the fuel injector 13.
