PURPOSE:To use a transmission line in common for zoom lens position information and barrier opening/closing information by connecting a barrier closure detection switch in series to parallel-connected zoom lens position detection switches. CONSTITUTION:The parallel-connected zoom lens position detection switches SW0-SW2 which are opened and closed according to the position of a zoom lens and not all opened or closed at the same time, and the barrier closure detection switch 21 are connected in series. This switch 21 is closed only when a barrier 11 is open in a photographic state, and position detection is performed through the switches SW0-SW2 of a zoom lens position detecting device 22 while barrier opening information is generated by grounding series connection line. Then the zoom lens position information and barrier opening/closing information are transferred to a controller 10 through the common transmission line to minimize the number of transfer lines.
