PURPOSE:To make the operations of construction work easier by a method in which plates for preventing the leak of concrete are provided projectionally from both ends of a partition plate on the end of a trench for constructing an element, round pipes are inserted into the space between the plates and reinforcing bars, and gravel is packed into the trench and concrete is placed. CONSTITUTION:Plates 4 for preventing the leak of concrete are provided projectionally from both ends of a partition plate 2 on the end of a trench 1 for constructing the preceding element of an underground continuous wall and extended to the ends of the reinforcing bars 3 of the preceding element along the side wall of the trench 1. Round pipes 5 with nozzles are inserted into the spaces between the plates 4 and the bar 3. Hollow boxes 9 are set between guides 8 provided to a coupler plate 7 inside the bars 3, gravel 4 is packed into the remaining space in the trench 1, and concrete 15 for the preceding element is placed. A trench for constructing the next stage element is excavated, the gravel 4 between the bars 3 is removed out, and the pipes 5 are pulled out.
