PURPOSE: To provide quality assurance method for cast slab, which a joint part of different kinds of steels is made to be the min. in the case of executing sequentially continuous casting to the different kinds of steels and the yield is improved in the continuous casting. ;CONSTITUTION: In the sequentially continuous casting method for the different kinds of steels by using a mixture preventing iron plate 11 in the continuous casting method for steel pouring into a mold from a tundish through an immersion nozzle and drawing the cast slab with pinch rolls, by calculating piping length 12 from the stopping time of pinch rolls to decide cut-off length of the joint part, the quality assurance method of slab having the joint part of the different kinds of steels is obtd. The joint part of the different kinds of steel is made to be the min. to reduce the wasted joint part and the yield of cast slab is improved and the internal defect is prevented to establish the quality assurance at the joint part.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
