PURPOSE:To build up a home bus home telephone system with good handleability by displaying the various pieces of information of a multiple dwelling house system onto a message display section on a home bus home telephone set. CONSTITUTION:When each house is called from a management office room master set 22, a signal from a multiple address house central controller 21 converts a command received by a multiple dwelling house interface 37 in a home bus controller 25 into a form in compliance with the standard home bus standards and the result is sent to a home bus control section 36. Then the command is sent to the telephone set control section 41 of a home bus home telephone set 26 through a control line 33 and a call from the master set 22 is informed. The telephone set 26 sends a call tone and displays the information from the master set onto an LCD message display section 42. A resident hooks off a handset 40 and replies the call to connect the circuit to a channel designated by the controller 25.
