PURPOSE: To provide a draw false-twist texturing machine having a simple mechanism and a method for performing draw false-twist texturing capable of suppressing the generation of naps, unevenness of untwisting, etc., at high speed processing. ;CONSTITUTION: In order to adjust contacting pressure in a nip-type false-twist texturing apparatus, a sensor for detecting yarn tension is placed at the downstream side of the false-twist texturing apparatus. Further, a fixed guide for imparting the yarn with running resistance is placed between the sensor and the second feed rollers placed at further downstream side in the yarn running direction. Untwisting tension just after the nip-type false-twist texturing apparatus is kept low so that nap generation is prevented and on the other hand after the tension-imparting apparatus, the yarn is wound up with such higher tension as to suppress the generation of unevenness of untwisting.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
