PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect a machine to a unit casing at a low cost and quickly by connecting the machine to a fixed section and the unit casing through a fixed section or to the unit casing by plastic deformation of one of them. ;SOLUTION: A pump driving motor 12 is installed on a casing wall in contact with the outer surface of a unit casing 14 by a motor casing cover 22, and a fixed section 26 of a motor casing 24 enters a circular groove 30 bored in the wall of the unit casing 14. A radially inward annular holding lip 32 engages to be put on a terminal area 28 bend as an outward flange of the fixed section 26 of the motor casing 24. Thus, the pump driving motor 12 is connected to the unit casing 14. The connecting part effectively acts on the whole periphery of the motor casing 24, thereby equally distributing holding force and keeping the individual fixed points from exhibiting stress.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
