PURPOSE: To improve the workability by connecting a lower part of a panel to a suspended scaffold, and positioning the panel in the vertical direction in relation to the lateral side surfaces of the suspended scaffold, and connecting successively a lateral connecting tool and a vertical connecting tool of other panel to a lateral connecting tool and a vertical connecting tool of this panel in order. ;CONSTITUTION: A flexible clamp 5 is fitted to a circular pipe 4 provided in the edge of a suspended scaffold 40 so as to connect a side surface protecting panel 3. The next panel 3 is arranged in a vertical support 9 of this panel 3, and a lateral connecting tool 1 projected from a vertical support 10 of the next panel 3 is firstly inserted into a fixed vertical connecting tool 2. Simultaneously, a lower part connecting material 12 of the panel 3 to be installed is connected to the circular pipe 4 for fixation by the flexible clamp 5. This work is repeated, and a first stage of the protecting wall is constructed along the edge of the suspended scaffold 40. A vertical connecting tool 2 from the vertical support 9 of the panel of the first stage is inserted for connection, and a connector 13 is inserted from the lower end of the panel 3 of the second stage. The side surface protecting panels 3 are thereby constructed in order, and beam materials and continuous single pipe for supporting the suspended scaffold 40 are connected for fixation to a reinforcing frame of the panel 3 by a special gravity lock pin 23.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
