PURPOSE: To provide a method and an implement therefor capable of more efficiently spreading a roofing sheet even in the presence of some wind by fewer workers. CONSTITUTION: In a plastic greenhouse having nearly arch-shaped roof skeleton 1 when viewed from the end side, a roofing sheet (a) put on the tape-mounting frame 5 of a mobile auxiliary implement (c) with a traveling component 4 and folded in a zigzag fashion is disposed on the roof skeleton 1 so that the folds of the sheet (a) are nearly rectangular to the ridge direction, and the upper end of the folded roofing sheet (a) is fixed on the roof skeleton 1, and then the auxiliary implement (c) is moved by a specified distance each time in one direction of the ridge to draw out the folded part of the sheet (a) by a specified length each time to spread it over the roof skeleton 1, and each time the sheet (a) is drawn out, the corresponding spread portion is fixed to the roof skeleton 1.
