Process for the preparation of enantiomerically pure polyhydroxylated nitrogenous heterocycles having formula (I) and of their enantiomers, wherein G1, R1, R2, R3 and n are as defined in the description, consisting in (a) reacting an amine having the formula (II): R1-NH2 with a bis-epoxyde, enantiomerically pure and having a symmetry axis C2, having formula (III) to obtain a mixture of the piperidinic derivative and the azepanic derivative; (b) separating the piperidinic derivative from the azepanic derivative; (c) optionally replacing the protection groups of the functions alcohol and/or the rest -alk(1C)-Ar representing the substituent R1 of the compounds obtained at (b) by hydrogen atoms.
