On the basis of a collection of decorations to repetitive patterns digitized and of a collection of the digitized images supports capable of receiving the decorations, one preserves the effects of proportions and in perspective, by measuring a rectangle with reference to the support and by applying the actual dimensions corresponding to the projection of the rectangle in the image support, and in measuring a unitary pattern real and by applying the corresponding dimensions of the unitary pattern digitized. It has, in addition, the effects of shadows and of illuminations by calculating the luminance of each pixel of the digitized image and the difference of each of the luminances with a reference luminance of a pixel of the illumination normal, and by applying a correction which is proportional to the rgb color of the decoration applied.
