PURPOSE:To absorb the fluctuation of a time slot due to position fluctuation of a satellite by selecting and outputting a 1st control signal as a demodulator control signal and a 2nd control signal as a unique word detection aperture. CONSTITUTION:A signal deciding device switches a selector 21 so that it select an output of a 2nd control signal generator 18 at a proper point of time when a round trip delay of a received burst signal is discriminated to be made clear. A burst signal reception demodulator 11 is controlled with a demodulator control signal generated and outputted by a 2nd control signal generator 18 according to a nearly accurate time slot indexed by a preceding burst. Moreover, when a burst signal to be sent is lost, the device 22 decides that no unique word detection signal 20 exists in a unique word detection aperture 15B to select the selector 21 to select an output of a 1st control signal generator 8, thereby preparing for the reception of the succeeding burst signal.
