After the end of the East-West conflict and the change to the global village policy, the UNO is increasingly being given the monopoly in controlling UN Peacekeeping Operations. The invention which is specified in the patent claim is based on the problem of there being no special equipment and weapons for the UN peacekeeping troops. The development of the multi-role combat and transport vehicle provides the UN peacekeeping troops with a special vehicle for UN Peacekeeping Operations. The vehicle has a better cross-country performance than any other vehicle in the world and represents a completely new generation of armoured infantry vehicles which takes off and lands vertically (VTOL), has the fire control system of an attack helicopter, achieves a ferry range of 3330 kilometres with air to air refuelling, flies under enemy radar by means of its swing wings, can transport 8 fully equipped UN airborne storm troops and can float. A market of at least DM 40,000,000,000 exists for the construction of at least 1,000 units. The multi-role combat and transport vehicle is intended for use for UN Peacekeeping Operations by the UN airborne assault forces, and for civil use. IMAGE
