FIELD: drainage amelioration of grounds, mainly, drainage pf peat deposits. SUBSTANCE: method for drainage of peat deposits includes excavation of draining trenches and formation of closed drains. Drains are formed without their communication with draining trenches. Ground water is accumulated in drains exerting static pressure on their walls and prevents their deformation, and then, it is discharged by cutting connecting drains with their communication with draining trenches that results in efficient cleaning of drain hollows with water flow. EFFECT: higher efficiency of drainage due to improved discharge of ground water and increased service life of drains. 2 dwg
